got home to my two awesome kitties today after spending a week with my grandparents and everything looks fine. But I did noticed my older cat, Daisy, has been getting a bit thin around her haunches.
Her stomach is fine, as it's always been, she's a little on the chubby side. She's also a miniature cat and 9 years old as of this month. This just worries me a bit and I just want to know whether it's old age or a consequence of us leaving for a week [like is she getting enough food or exercise or maybe is it stress?]. She's acting fine, playing with the younger cat Lynx so it seems to me that lack of exercise is not the case. We left out enough food for both her and Lynx in the kitchen and afterwards there is usually plenty of food to spare. But the problem might be that she's not eating enough, idk. Just a bit concerned.

Ah see when I was younger I had a cat named Goofy who was abnormally thin though she ate like a pig. She'd eat fries, fried chicken, sausage, cheese and lots of other things. She also lived to be 14. So my guess is it's old age. But monitor her to see if she's eating.
