Static sketch reference not taken seriously

UPDATE: an official reference with colour and everything will come about sometime soon [maybe even tomorrow] since I've already thought of a few changes to the design

just have a chain of references not taken seriously cause they're really fun especially with alien creatures
I looked at the old Static reference with complete disgust and decided to redo the whole species. I thought "What would it look like if a german shepherd, a seal, a stingray, and an eel had a baby." and got this and not gonna lie I love it

On a serious note Statics [name will be changed probably] are both a land and sea creature, able to move very quickly on both. They also have extremely strong electric capabilities [like eels] and can pretty much kill anything. They are one of the best predators and while they are smart enough to understand and communicate in more than one language, build houses, organize themselves into strong governments, they're not exactly smart enough to delve into maths and sciences, mostly relying on alliances with the Hinoeans and other highly advanced species for most of their technology and medicine. A lot of times they do like to make fun of creatures smarter than them but it only maskes their jealousy. Most are content though with probably being the known universes top predator.

The only known Static character in Eliminating Haarsa is Comet and he is one of my favourite characters of all the ones I've ever made.
