Ekivynns [formerly known as Ekiris] are large, super fast, herbivorous creatures that inhabit most of Undeirod, even living in parts of the desert. They are large beasts, Heavy Northern Ekis sometimes growing to be 17 feet tall at head height. Despite being one of the largest species, they are the fastest, with strong hollow bones like many species on Undeirod [like Waivynns, Phiagivynns, etc]. They are prey creatures, mostly preyed on by Waivins and Phiagis, but they have a temper like no other and will usually choose to fight back, often killing the predator with the help of their sharp horns. For this they are rated the third most dangerous species on Undeirod, after Sybuovs and Phiagis.

Light(weight) Southern Eki
Faster with thin legs and a light body, build for speed and are the fastest creature on Undeirod with a max speed of almost 115km/hin sprinting bursts. They love to run at their top speeds but can only keep it for about a minute or so. They have a low endurance and stamina, and their thin feet tend to sink through snow easily, with their short fur doesn't protect well from the cold. They live in the northern parts of the south of Undeirod, where it's warmer with less snow and more plants to eat. Light Ekis are used mostly by the Serin Clan, but rich Kasuks often buy a few from them as Light Ekis are foreign in the Northern Kasuk Clan and are admired for their speed. In combat they're good for outrunning enemy soldiers and catching them, but in a cavalry fight against the Kasuk's legions of Heavy Northern Ekis they often lose. Their forward horns are made for quick stabs at any predator that comes for these Ekis.

Heavy(weight) Norther Eki
The name is a bit misleading, because they're not very much heavier or slower than Light Ekis but they have incredible stamina and endurance. They are mostly very common in the Kasuk Clan of Undeirod's North. The Kasuks love these guys and the Serins are pretty jealous. Strong enough to work, not as fast as Light Ekis but fast enough at top speed of 90km/h, with thick fur to keep them warm in the cold and wide feet so not to sink much in the snow. They also inhabit some parts of the Serin Clan in the South but are rare. With Heavy Northern Ekis the Kasuk Clan knows they have a strong advantage over the Serin Clan in cavalry battles, so they often refuse when a wealthy Serin wants to buy more than a few. Their curled back horns are made for crashing into enemies or predators and easily breaking a few bones.

Mid(weight) Eki
Attainable only by the breeding of Heavy and Light Ekis these ones are rare and very much sought after by both clans. They often have about 100-110km/h top speeds, more stamina and endurance than Light Ekis and thick enough fur to brave the cold. Light and Heavy Ekis rarely breed together out in the wild, so to find a natural Mid Eki is extremely rare. Mid Ekis can be problematic genetic-wise as Light and Heavy Ekis are very different genetically, especially in the way their bones form. In Mid Ekis bone structure related issues are common, deformations and bad joints, but the most common issues are the horns. On Mid Ekis their horns will more often than not grow in wrong and weak, having to be cut off or they break and fall off on their own, so many Mid Ekis are often seen without horns.

This started out as just a quick concept sketch and then I kept working at it and now it's an official reference
If you didn't understand any vocabulary in this, Undeirod is their planet and it is very arctic and snowy, the Kasuk Clan is in the North, the Serin Clan is in the South, there's a great desert that separates the North and the South.
'Vynn' is the term for 'individual', 'person', 'man' or 'living thing'. Waivynns, Phiagivynns, Ekivynns, Agivynns, Daervynns, Sybuovynns, etc.
Waivynns / Waivins are the only species that keep the 'vynn' on the end all the time, while the others in improper form are often just called Phiagis, Ekis, Agis, Daers, and Sybuovs. This is cause Waivins are the 'proper vynn', like 'hu-man', 'wai-vynn'
